01How many guests can Hacienda Valdeflores hold?
Weddings range from 110 to 800 guests, according to its Bodas.net listing. The largest hall seats up to 700 diners in a single room, and the second hall, 650 m² and designed to evoke a bullring, up to 400.
02How much does the wedding menu cost?
Wedding menus start at €75 per person (Bodas.net) and include the reception, the meal, an open bar, table decoration and background music in the garden and the hall. For a firm quote, call the hacienda.
03Where is the ceremony held?
Civil ceremonies take place in the garden itself. If you marry in church, the celebration carries on at the hacienda afterwards.
04How late can the party go on?
The hacienda sets no closing time: its Bodas.net listing says there is no time limit on the celebration. The open bar is booked for a fixed length of time. There is only one event a day.
05Can we bring our own caterer, photographer or music?
Catering is the hacienda’s own, from its in-house kitchen: traditional, local cooking. You are free to choose your photographer and music, and you may bring your own cake at no extra charge.
06Do you cater for allergies and special diets?
Yes: vegetarian and vegan menus, and menus for diabetic, hypertensive, allergic and coeliac guests.
07How do we get to the hacienda?
Take the motorway to exit 105, towards Cartaya. The hacienda is about five minutes from Cartaya, ten from Lepe and twenty from Huelva and from Portugal; the beaches are about 10 km away, Seville 120 km and Faro airport 80 km. There is parking on site.
08Is there accommodation at the hacienda?
There are no rooms. There are hotels in Cartaya and on the coast, a few minutes away.
09What if it rains?
The halls hold every guest: the largest seats up to 700 in a single room.
10Can we visit before booking?
Yes, by appointment. The office is open Monday to Friday, 10am–2.30pm and 5–8pm, and on Saturdays 10am–2pm.
11Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes: the entrance, the car park and the toilets are adapted.
